Apple Already Finalizes iPhone 18e Before iPhone 17e Hits Stores

iPhone 17e Comes With 8GB RAM, Same as iPhone 17

Apple has already finalized early plans for the next entry-level model in its iPhone lineup, even though the iPhone 17e has not yet reached customers. The company appears to be moving forward with the development of the iPhone 18e, which will continue Apple’s strategy of offering a lower-priced iPhone with modern hardware and updated features.

The iPhone 17e launches this week and introduces several upgrades compared with older entry level models. Apple equips the device with the A19 chip, its new C1X modem, MagSafe support, and 256GB of base storage, which marks a clear shift toward giving the budget lineup stronger performance and more usable storage.

Early details remain limited, but Apple will likely equip the iPhone 18e with the newer A20 chip. Reports also suggest that Dynamic Island could arrive on the model as Apple gradually brings premium features to its entry-level devices.

Current rumors point to a spring 2027 launch, when Apple may introduce the iPhone 18e alongside the standard iPhone 18 and the next-generation iPhone Air.
