Apple has officially announced its September 2026 event, where it plans to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, its first foldable iPhone, new Apple Watch models, and release dates for its next software updates.
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 9 at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, starting at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Apple is using the tagline “Surprise and shine,” with the invitation showing a glowing Apple logo with sunlight passing through it.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first foldable iPhone, which has been widely rumored under the iPhone Ultra name.

The regular iPhone 18 is not expected at the September event because Apple reportedly plans to release the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 in spring 2027 instead.
The iPhone 18 Pro models are expected to use Apple’s new A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm process, while other rumored upgrades include a variable-aperture Main camera, a smaller Dynamic Island, and Apple’s C2 cellular modem.
Apple’s foldable iPhone is expected to use a book-style design with an outer display around 5.5 inches and an inner display around 7.6 inches. Reports also point to a titanium frame, Touch ID in the power button, and a dual-camera system on the rear.
Apple is also expected to announce the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, while AirPods 5 and new smart home hardware remain possible additions.
Apple will stream the September 9 event through its website, YouTube, and the Apple TV app, while invited media will attend the presentation at Apple Park.
