Apple expanded AppleCare Plus coverage in India with new monthly and annual plans. The update gives users more control over how long they want protection. It also brings Theft and Loss coverage for iPhone to India for the first time. The move makes the service more flexible and more aligned with what users expect from Apple’s support programs.
As Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, Kaiann Drance explained inside the announcement, the company wants users to feel secure when they buy an Apple product. She said AppleCare gives people peace of mind because experts handle repairs and support. Her comment shows how Apple positions this upgrade as a long-term investment in customer trust.
What’s new in India
AppleCare Plus with Theft and Loss now covers up to two cases of theft or loss every year. Along with that, users still get the usual AppleCare Plus benefits such as battery replacements, unlimited accidental damage repairs, and round-the-clock priority support. These plans start at INR 799, which gives buyers more ways to choose a plan that fits their needs.
