Apple just rolled out the third developer beta for watchOS 27.2, giving testers another look at the upcoming software update. Along with the smartwatch software, the company also released the third test builds for tvOS 27.2 and visionOS 27.2. These new versions arrive two weeks after the second round of developer software went live. They join the recent third developer beta for iOS 27.2 that also hit compatible phones this week.
Discover the new health tools and smart home code changes
With the smartwatch update, the company continues testing the redesigned Health app it showed off during its September event. Users will find new Insights and Longevity tabs inside the app. There is also a readiness score that uses data pulled from the new Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 models.
For tvOS 27.2 and visionOS 27.2, there is no official word on what is included yet. However, code in the new TV update mentions foundation models and a framework for smart replies. This lines up with expectations that a new Apple TV box with Siri AI support will launch before the year ends.

These releases follow the recent macOS Golden Gate 27.2 beta and the third iPadOS 27.2 developer beta currently testing with developers. Registered developers can grab all these new builds right through the Settings app on their specific devices.
The beta cycle is moving fast as we get closer to the public launch. Testing these early builds helps catch bugs now, so the final software runs well on your daily devices.
