Apple has released tvOS 26.6 for compatible Apple TV models. The update arrives after several weeks of beta testing and carries build number 23L772.
The latest release focuses on improving the existing tvOS experience before tvOS 27 launches later this year. Apple TV users can download it through the Settings app.

How to update
- Open the Settings app on your Apple TV.
- Select System.
- Choose Software Updates.
- Select Update Software.
- Choose Download and Install when tvOS 26.6 appears.
- Keep the Apple TV connected to power and the internet while it installs.
