Apple Takes Its Big 50th Birthday Party to Three More Countries

Apple Announces 50th Anniversary Celebration Plans on April 1

Apple is turning fifty very soon, and the company is keeping the global birthday party going strong. After starting things off with a surprise music show in New York and hosting big events in China and South Korea, the tech maker is adding more stops to its tour. Soon, fans in Canada, France, and Thailand will get their own special local store events.

These upcoming sessions will focus heavily on having fun with art and letting people express their creative side.

Apple is hanging out with artists around the world

Apple officially hits the big five-zero on April 1. To celebrate, the company is using the whole month of March to bring people together at its retail stores. On March 26, the Vancouver store in Canada is hosting a chat with pro ice skater Elladj Baldé.

Apple invited fans by saying, “Join us to celebrate 50 years of thinking different at Apple with professional figure skater Elladj Baldé.” The company wants to show how he uses the ice to spark fresh ideas and inspire young athletes to just be themselves.

Local events in Paris and Bangkok

Over in France, the Paris store is getting ready for a busy couple of days on March 25 and 26. They are setting up four different events featuring local talent. This lineup includes a music producer named Myd, a graphic artist called So Me, and a few other popular acts.

Meanwhile, fans in Thailand have already filled up the open spots for a March 21 event in Bangkok. That session shines a spotlight on Molly, the artist who draws the famous Crybaby characters.

Talking about the Bangkok event, Apple said, “Discover your creative power and celebrate ’50 Years of Thinking Different’ with Apple in a session where Molly, the artist behind Crybaby, will guide you in thinking differently to express yourself through art.”

She plans to teach visitors how to turn their feelings into fun characters using an iPad and a digital pencil.
