Apple will temporarily close its Victoria Gardens retail store in Rancho Cucamonga, California, starting the evening of April 11 as the company prepares the location for renovations, and the store will remain shut until fall, with no exact reopening date confirmed yet.
The company plans to continue serving customers in the same shopping area, as it will open a temporary Apple Store nearby at 12501 N Mainstreet, Suite 3610, in a unit previously occupied by Athleta, so visitors can still access Apple products and support without leaving Victoria Gardens.

Apple first opened the Victoria Gardens store in September 2004, and the upcoming renovation suggests the company wants to update the space to match its newer retail design, while also likely preparing for increased foot traffic later this year around major product launches.
Apple will also close its Chermside store near Brisbane starting April 29, and while the company has not shared a reason, the timing suggests another renovation project, as that store originally opened in November 2009.
Meanwhile, Apple Trumbull in Connecticut and Apple Towson Town Center in Maryland will open later than usual on April 9, possibly due to internal meetings affecting store hours for the day.
