Apple TV will stream the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix completely for free in the United States, giving fans a full race weekend without requiring an Apple TV subscription.
The free coverage runs from June 26 to June 28, and this marks the first race weekend where Apple is putting more than practice sessions in front of the paywall. Viewers will get access to Saturday qualifying and the Sunday race through the Apple TV app.
Fans only need the Apple TV app and a location inside the United States to watch the free F1 coverage. The app works on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, Windows, smart TVs, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Xbox, PlayStation, and the web through tv.apple.com.
Austrian Grand Prix Schedule

This free weekend gives Apple a chance to bring more casual viewers into F1 coverage while showing sports fans that the Apple TV app now has a bigger role in live racing.
Most F1 races this season still require an Apple TV subscription, so the Austrian Grand Prix stands out as a useful free preview for anyone who wants to watch before paying.
