Apple is marking Valentine’s Day with a heart-themed Apple Watch activity challenge. The idea stays simple. Close your Exercise ring on Saturday, February 14, and unlock a limited Heart Month award tied to fitness and heart health.
The challenge fits into Apple’s yearly Heart Month push. It asks users to complete a workout that fills the green Exercise ring. The default goal is 30 minutes, though custom goals still count. If you raised your target, you must complete the full amount to earn the reward.
According to Apple, “Close your exercise ring on Valentine’s Day, February 14, to earn this award. Your heart will love you for it.”
How to earn the Heart Month award
- Complete any workout that writes data to the Fitness app
- Use Apple Watch’s Workout app or a supported third-party app
- Close the Exercise ring on February 14
After completion, the Fitness app shows a special award. Apple also adds animated Heart Month stickers to the Messages app. During February, themed Heart Month content often appears across Apple’s services, including the App Store, Apple TV, Podcasts, and Books.
