What Chad Powers season 2 is about
According to Hulu’s press page, Chad Powers is now a superstar on the field, but his odd behavior off it has people suspicious, especially Coach Hudson and Gerry. Ricky knows the truth. If Russ and Danny want Chad to survive the regular season and lead the Catfish to the college football playoff, the only person who can help them is Ricky, who is also the last person who wants to.
For newcomers, Glen Powell plays Russ Holliday, whose alter ego on the field is Chad Powers. As the season 2 setup makes clear, keeping that secret is getting harder as Chad’s profile grows.
Cast
Hulu lists the following cast for the series:
- Glen Powell as Russ Holliday/Chad Powers
- Perry Mattfeld as Ricky
- Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd
- Wynn Everett as Tricia Yeager
- Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny
- Steve Zahn as Coach Jake Hudson
Powell also co-created the series with Michael Waldron, so he is shaping the show behind the camera as well as leading it on screen.
How to watch Chad Powers season 2
Chad Powers is a Hulu Original, so it streams on Hulu. You can watch in a web browser or in the Hulu app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android devices, smart TVs and streaming players. A Hulu subscription is required, including any bundle that includes Hulu.
If you have not seen season 1, start there first, since season 2 picks up the story of Russ’s double life.
Will there be a season 3?
Hulu has not announced a third season. Any renewal would come as a separate announcement from Hulu, and its press site is where that news would appear first. Hulu’s press materials also do not list episode titles or runtimes for season 2.
