Prior to Christmas Apple TV+ launched a ‘for you consideration’ campaign for its film, Cherry. However, the poster shared online was unreadable. Was the film called Cherk? 8Herk?
Variety Shares wrong ‘Cherry’ Poster
Bad design and typefaces is not really something we associated with Apple. The explanation, according to Cult of Mac, is that Variety, a publication focussing on the film and television trade, shared the wrong poster. Not surprisingly, just before Christmas, it apologized for the error:

Cherry stars Tom Holland and is based on a novel of the same name. It tells the story of a disenfranchised man from Ohi and his pursuit of love. It will become available globally on Apple TV+ on March 12, 2021.
