Drops of God Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 of Drops of God premieres on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, exclusively on Apple TV+.
The season will open with one episode, followed by weekly releases every Wednesday through March 11, 2026. In total, Season 2 runs for eight episodes.
Who’s Returning for Season 2
Fleur Geffrier and Tomohisa Yamashita both return as Camille and Issei, continuing the story that began with their father’s brutal and brilliant wine-based inheritance test.
Their dynamic remains the emotional core of the series, and Season 2 pushes that relationship further than before.
Elsewhere on Apple TV+, Silo is also gearing up for its next chapter, continuing to expand one of the platform’s most tightly controlled and unsettling worlds.
What Season 2 Is About
This time, the challenge is bigger and far more dangerous.
Camille and Issei are drawn into a search for the origin of the world’s greatest wine, a mystery so deep that even Alexandre Léger could not solve it. What starts as a question of legacy quickly becomes something else entirely.
The journey spans continents and centuries, pulling buried histories, rivalries, and long-kept secrets into the open. As the search intensifies, so do the personal costs. Camille and Issei are forced to confront how much they’re willing to sacrifice, not just professionally, but emotionally.
Their bond as siblings is tested in ways that could either reshape it or break it for good.

Where the Show Comes From
Drops of God is adapted from the bestselling Japanese manga series created by Tadashi Agi with artwork by Shu Okimoto. The Apple TV+ adaptation keeps its multilingual, cross-cultural identity intact, blending French and Japanese storytelling without smoothing out the differences.
That tension is part of what makes the series work.
When to Catch Up
If you haven’t watched Season 1 yet, now’s the time. Season 2 begins January 21, 2026, with weekly episodes leading into March.
The wine may be rare, the legacy heavy, and the choices brutal, but Drops of God isn’t slowing down.
Apple TV+ is also pressing ahead with Foundation Season 4, reinforcing its long-term investment in large-scale, serialized sci-fi.
And for viewers looking for something already here, Hijack Season 2 landed on January 14, bringing the tension back fast and without a slow buildup.
