iPhone 17e Launch Imminent With “More Features at the Same Cost”

iPhone 17e: All the Rumors and Everything We Know So Far

Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 17e, and signs point to an announcement very soon. The device sits in Apple’s lower-cost lineup, but this time it brings meaningful upgrades while keeping the same price. The iPhone 17e launch imminent narrative centers on better performance, modern connectivity, and a clear push toward price-sensitive buyers.

In a new report, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said the iPhone 17e is coming “imminently.” He added that Apple plans to position it as a stronger value than its predecessor without raising the entry price.

Upgrades and pricing

The iPhone 17e will use the A19 chip, first introduced with the iPhone 17. That alone marks a big jump for Apple’s entry model. Apple is also fixing a long-standing omission by adding MagSafe support, which improves charging and accessory compatibility.

The phone will reportedly include Apple’s latest in-house connectivity hardware. That list includes the new C1X cellular modem and the N1 chip for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Thread. These changes point to better efficiency and tighter hardware control.

Apple plans to keep the starting price at $599. Gurman described the pitch as simple: “You’ll get more features for the same cost.

Apple intends to market the iPhone 17e heavily in emerging markets and enterprise deployments. That strategy lines up with weaker pressure from rivals at the low end, as competitors focus elsewhere. The result is a narrow window where Apple can stand out with a stronger value phone at a familiar price.
