No other iPhone Apple currently sells carries all three of those numbers, and the 45-hour figure is the single highest battery rating on any page in its current iPhone lineup.
All three figures come from Apple’s tech specs for the iPhone 18 Pro Max and carry one qualifier worth reading closely: Apple attaches them to what it calls the eSIM-only model.

Three numbers, one phone
Video playback and streamed video are figures Apple has published for years: play a downloaded file and the Pro Max is rated for up to 45 hours, stream that same file over a network and the figure drops to up to 40. Typical use is new this generation, described by Apple as a single number for a day of ordinary handling rather than one activity repeated until the battery dies.

Apple has not published the test conditions behind the typical-use figure beyond calling it a new way of rating a full charge, so treat 30 hours as Apple’s own ceiling claim rather than a number anyone outside Apple has reproduced.
The highest figure Apple currently publishes for an iPhone
Set the Pro Max’s 45-hour rating against the rest of Apple’s current lineup and nothing else in the tech specs matches it. The iPhone Duo, Apple’s foldable, is rated for 44 hours on its outer display, one hour short. Every other iPhone Apple sells today publishes a lower figure still.
That makes 45 hours a number specific to this one model, not a size bonus shared with anything else Apple currently prices.

Every row above is a figure Apple itself has published for the model named, on its own tech specs pages, not a benchmark run under matched conditions. The gap between rows can come from screen size, battery design or both, and Apple does not break that apart for any model in the table.
What Apple ties the extra hours to, and does not
Apple’s own materials disclosure for this generation mentions a battery enclosure and a vapor chamber chassis in the same sentence, and its press materials describe a next-generation vapor chamber attached directly to the A20 Pro with about three times the cooling performance of the previous design. That claim is written for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max together, with no separate figure broken out for the larger chassis.
What Apple has not published is a battery capacity in mAh for either phone, or any statement connecting the Pro Max’s extra internal volume to a specific cell size. The finished-product hours above are the only figures on the record.
