The mobile coding platform Replit has officially released a new update for its iPhone application after a four-month pause. The software company recently resolved a situation with the Apple App Store review team that stopped new versions from reaching users. Earlier this year, news broke that Apple restricts updates for vibe coding applications because of how these programs preview AI-built apps on phones.
Replit CEO Amjad Masad shared online that his company finally worked things out with the store to get the app flowing again.
The application adds Agent 4 technology and free project imports
This big update brings Agent 4 directly to the mobile app. Replit built this tool to help users be more creative on their phones. The software now supports parallel agents, meaning it can work on multiple ideas at the exact same time. It also adds new ways for teams to work together and lets you view all your coding projects across different workspaces.
Replit is also running a special deal right now to grab users from other platforms. Anyone can move their existing projects from Lovable, Base44, or V0 into Replit for free. Once you move a project over, the built-in agent will create a mobile version and help push it to the App Store in minutes.
We still do not know the details of what Replit changed to pass the review rules. Still, we will likely hear more about how these AI tools fit into the phone ecosystem soon. The annual developer event happens on June 8, where we expect to see new rules and features for intelligent mobile agents.
