Apple’s iPhone Duo release says buyers get three months of Apple One, the subscription bundle, rather than the list of individual services Apple’s store normally advertises with a device purchase. Apple has not published the same Apple One offer for any other product in this launch.
That sits alongside two free years of satellite features and a 1 m USB-C cable, and against a short list of things a $1,999 phone still needs that Apple prices separately or has not priced at all.
What Apple says comes with a $1,999 iPhone Duo

|---|---|---|
| Three months of Apple One | Stated in Apple’s iPhone Duo release | Included |
| Satellite features | Messages, Emergency SOS and Roadside Assistance via satellite | Included, two years |
| iOS 27.1 | Ships on the phone, not iOS 27.0 | Included |
| 1 m USB-C cable | In the box with the phone | Included |
| Personal Setup | Free one-to-one online session with a specialist | Included |
| Power adapter | Not in the box | Not published |
| iPhone Duo Case | Sand, navy blue | $79 |
| iPhone Duo Folio with kickstand | Navy blue, taupe | $129 |
| AppleCare+ for iPhone Duo | Apple confirms plans are available | Not published |
| Apple Pencil (USB-C) support | Arrives later in 2026 | Not published |
Three months of Apple One, and three things Apple did not say
Apple’s standard store offer with a device purchase is three months of selected services named one by one: Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+. The Duo release names the bundle instead.

Apple has not published which Apple One tier the three months covers, whether existing subscribers are eligible, or whether the offer sits on top of the standard three-months-of-services promotion or replaces it.
It has also not published what happens in month four, beyond the ordinary rule that a trial converts unless it is cancelled. Treat the bundle as three months of software, not as money off the phone.
Two free years of satellite, then nothing published
| Feature | What Apple says | For how long |
|---|---|---|
| Messages via satellite | Included with iPhone Duo | Two years |
| Emergency SOS via satellite | Included with iPhone Duo | Two years |
| Roadside Assistance via satellite | Included with iPhone Duo | Two years |
| Apple Pencil (USB-C) on both displays | Support arrives later in 2026 | No date published |
| Apple One | Three months with the phone | Three months |
The two years are counted from activation and Apple has published no price or renewal terms for a third year on any of its 2026 iPhones.
A cable in the box, and a charging claim built on an adapter with no price
The box holds the phone with iOS 27 in its 27.1 form and a 1 m USB-C cable. There is no power adapter, which is also true of the iPhone 18 Pro box.
Apple’s fastest published charging figure for the Duo, 50 percent in about 20 minutes, assumes a 60W USB-C adapter. Its current 60W-class adapter is sold as a 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max, and none of the ten storefronts checked lists a price for it.
MagSafe and Qi2 both stop at 25W on this phone, so a wireless pad is a convenience rather than a way around the adapter question.
What has not been confirmed
Apple has published no AppleCare+ price for iPhone Duo, and no screen, hinge or battery repair price for it. The only protection figures it has published for this launch are AppleCare One at $19.99 a month for up to three devices and AppleCare One Family at $49.99 a month from September 14.
Trade-in credit is published as a range in the US, $175 to $885 for an iPhone 13 or later, with no per-model table, and no carrier has published an iPhone Duo offer. Our Duo against iPhone 18 Pro Max comparison covers what the $700 difference buys in hardware.
Pre-orders open Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. PT, and the case and folio become orderable the same day, a week before the phone reaches stores on Friday, October 23.
