Lady Gaga is getting another major streaming release on Apple Music this week, and this one looks very different from her usual stadium-style performances.
Apple has officially announced “Apple Music Live: MAYHEM Requiem,” a new filmed concert experience centered around Gaga’s latest MAYHEM era. The performance premieres this Thursday, May 14, at 8 p.m. PT, and Apple says viewers will be able to watch the first stream for free, even without an Apple Music subscription.

What makes this release interesting is the format. Instead of another large arena production, Gaga performs inside Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theatre in a much smaller setting. Apple describes it as a darker and more intimate reimagining of the MAYHEM album, with stripped-back arrangements and live instrumentation.
The special includes performances of tracks like “Abracadabra,” “Disease,” and “Shadow of a Man,” alongside other songs from the album. Apple Music is also releasing a live version of the performance in Spatial Audio for subscribers.
