How to update

  • Open Settings on Apple Vision Pro
  • Tap General
  • Tap Software Update
  • Tap Beta Updates
  • Select the visionOS 26 Developer Beta option tied to your developer Apple ID
  • Go back, then tap Download and Install

Keep your headset on power and connected to Wi-Fi during the update.

Changes in visionOS 26.4 beta 2

So far, there are no widely reported headline additions in beta 2. Early notes point to typical fixes and refinements rather than new user-facing features.

The more notable visionOS 26.4 change surfaced in beta 1, which unlocked a new foveated streaming capability aimed at apps and games. Beta 2 is the next step in stabilizing that work and anything else in the 26.4 branch.

If you spot a specific change in beta 2, especially around streaming performance, input, or window behavior, share what you are seeing in the comments.
