All the changes
At the moment, visionOS 26.6 public beta 1 looks like a maintenance-focused update rather than a feature-heavy release. Apple has not listed any significant new additions in the release notes, suggesting that the company is concentrating on system refinements, bug fixes, security improvements, and overall reliability.
The update also arrives earlier than some previous beta cycles, with Apple already testing visionOS 26.6 ahead of WWDC 2026, where the spotlight is expected to shift to visionOS 27 and other next-generation platform updates.
Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference begins on June 8, where the company is expected to unveil visionOS 27 alongside updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV platforms.
