Video Effects

Four new effects have been added when you record videos: VHS, Glitch, Kaleido, and Chroma. They’ll allow you to add everything from a nostalgic, vintage feel, to fun, colorful distortion within the VSCO app. These video presets can be added once you add a video to the app and start editing. You’ll see a new FX icon.

New camera capture modes are also available:

  • Photo: To take a photo, scroll to choose a photo effect and then single tap to take a photo.

  • Video: To take a video, scroll to choose a video effect, and then tap to start recording.

  • Burst: To use Burst mode, single tap to fill the grid with a continuous series of photos.
