WABetaInfo reported the update and confirmed that the feature is rolling out to select beta testers. According to the report, WhatsApp plans to expand availability over the coming weeks.
Redesigned Settings Page
The new layout changes how profile information appears inside the app. Instead of placing the profile picture inside a small cell, WhatsApp now centers it on the screen. This makes the account section look cleaner and more modern.
Some users also notice changes in the tab bar. In certain cases, WhatsApp replaces the “Settings” label with “You.” The tab may also display the user’s profile picture icon directly. This design makes it easier to understand which account is active, especially for people who manage more than one account.
WhatsApp recently started supporting multiple accounts within the same app. When users switch accounts, the profile icon in the tab bar updates automatically. This helps users confirm which account they are using without confusion.
The redesigned Settings page with a cover photo is currently available to some beta testers who install WhatsApp beta for iOS 26.5.10.76 through TestFlight. As with most beta features, WhatsApp is releasing it gradually to monitor performance and collect feedback before a wider rollout.
