Apple’s redesigned Health app adds a Labs feature that lets US users book and buy a blood panel covering more than 50 biomarkers for $119 at about 2,000 Quest Diagnostics locations. It arrives with iOS 27 on September 14 as part of the Health app’s new Longevity tab.
Labs sits alongside the new Longevity tab, which pulls from iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, clinical records and third-party apps, and the Health Age comparison, which accepts lab values such as A1c and LDL. The panel gives Apple a way to fill in the numbers the watch cannot measure.
How Apple Health Labs works
Apple’s release describes the flow in one line: book and buy a panel of more than 50 biomarkers for $119 at about 2,000 Quest Diagnostics locations in the US. The booking and payment happen in the Health app, and the blood draw happens at a Quest location.

The Health app already lets users add lab values such as A1c and LDL cholesterol to Health Age, the new comparison of your metrics against your chronological age. Labs is the obvious source for those numbers, though Apple has not said whether results import automatically or must be entered by hand.
What $119 gets you, and what Apple has not said
Apple has published the price, the biomarker count, the lab partner and the rough number of locations. It has not published much else.

Apple also has not said whether Labs launches on September 14 with the rest of the Health app, or whether booking opens later.
Who can use it
The redesigned Health app runs on Apple Intelligence devices with iOS 27 or iPadOS 27, in US English first. Apple says some features require users to be 18 or over, though it has not confirmed that Labs is one of them.

- A US location within reach of one of about 2,000 Quest Diagnostics sites.
- Possibly an 18-and-over age requirement. Apple has not specified.
- An Apple Watch is needed for Health Age, where lab values are used, but Apple has not said the watch is required to order a panel.
