Apple’s “Surprise and shine” event at Apple Park today brought the iPhone 18 Pro from $1,199, the iPhone 18 Pro Max from $1,299, AirPods 5 from $129, iOS 27 on September 14 and, according to the keynote, Apple’s first foldable, the iPhone Duo, at about $2,000.
It was John Ternus’s first keynote as CEO, eight days after he succeeded Tim Cook, who is now executive chairman. Here is everything announced, split between what Apple has confirmed in press releases and what so far comes only from the keynote.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max (confirmed by press release)
The 6.3-inch iPhone 18 Pro and 6.9-inch Pro Max run the A20 Pro, Apple’s first 2-nanometer chip, with a 7-core GPU up to 40 percent faster than the A19 Pro and a 32-core Neural Engine. Prices are $100 higher than last year, with 256GB base storage and a new 2TB tier.

iOS 27 arrives Monday, September 14, as a free update, with Siri AI launching in beta in English. French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish follow in October.
iPhone Duo and Apple Watch (keynote coverage only)
According to the keynote, Apple’s first foldable is named iPhone Duo rather than iPhone Ultra, runs the A20 Pro, comes in White and Dark Blue, starts at about $2,000 and arrives in October. Apple has not yet published a press release with full specifications, so the pre-event reports we gathered in our iPhone Duo preview remain unconfirmed.
Apple also announced Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 on stage. Per keynote coverage, Series 12 gains a ceramic case option, Ultra 4 gets longer battery life, and both add a day-summary feature built on ambient sensing that stores no audio, plus a new Readiness app. Prices and dates have not been confirmed.

What Apple did not announce
There was no standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e or iPhone Air 2, with reports pointing to spring 2027, no new Macs and no Apple Watch SE. We explained the reasoning in why Apple is not launching a standard iPhone 18 today.
Next up: iPhone 18 Pro pre-orders on Saturday, iOS 27 on Monday and the first deliveries on September 18. Apple has not said when it will publish full details for the iPhone Duo or the new Apple Watch models.
