Apple Rolls Out macOS Tahoe 26.3 Public Beta 2 for Testers

Apple Releases macOS Tahoe 26.3 beta 1 for Mac Users

Apple has released macOS Tahoe 26.3 public beta 2, the latest test build ahead of a wider 26.3 rollout later this month. The first 26.3 beta arrived in mid-December, and this second public beta follows Apple’s fresh round of January beta releases after the holiday break.

Public beta 2 carries build number 25D5101c. For reference, beta 1 was 25D5087f, so this update looks like a standard iteration focused on polish rather than big additions.

How to update macOS Tahoe 26.3 public beta 2

  1. Open System Settings
  2. Go to General then Software Update
  3. Tap the info button next to Beta Updates
  4. Choose the macOS Tahoe Public Beta track
  5. Download and install the update

What changed in beta 2

So far, the 26.3 cycle appears light on new user-facing features. Early coverage indicates this build mainly targets bug fixes, stability improvements, and performance tuning, which is typical for a .3 update at this stage.
