Apple TV Drops Official Trailer for The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2

Apple TV has shared the official trailer for season two of The Last Thing He Told Me, giving fans their first proper look at what comes next. The new season premieres on Friday, February 20, and runs for eight episodes. New episodes will arrive weekly, with the finale set for April 10.

Apple TV+ confirmed the return date earlier this year and revealed the trailer today. The platform also reiterated that the show will follow a weekly release schedule, continuing the same rollout pattern used for season one.

The first season adapted Laura Dave’s novel The Last Thing He Told Me. Season two shifts focus to Dave’s sequel, The First Time I Saw Him. Both books reached the New York Times bestseller list, which helped build a strong audience for the series before it even premiered.

This change gives the story new ground to cover instead of retreading familiar material. As a result, the second season moves forward rather than retelling events viewers already know.

Spoiler Warning: Before You Watch

The season two trailer includes spoilers from season one. If you have not finished the first season, it is best to skip both the trailer and the official synopsis until you are fully caught up.

For viewers who are up to date, Apple describes the new season like this: Owen “shows up after five years on the run,” while Hannah and her stepdaughter Bailey “find themselves in a race to figure out how to reunite their family before the past catches up to them.”

The trailer is now available to watch, offering a tense preview of what lies ahead for the family.
