If you love classic video games, you will be happy to hear that Tetris is now officially available on Retrocade for the Apple Vision Pro. Before this update, fans could only find the famous puzzle game hidden as a secret Easter egg in the app. Now, the original version is fully playable from the comfort of your own home with a monthly Apple Arcade subscription.

Players can explore a new immersive Japanese arcade environment

The new update brings the classic game right to the front menu. It features an exact copy of the original Elektronika 60 version built over forty years ago. When you start playing, the headset transports you into a highly detailed 1980s Japanese arcade space.

This virtual room lets you sit at a realistic cabinet and feel like you are really there. The creator of the app, Resolution Games, wanted to build a virtual museum where these older titles can truly shine. Using the spatial computing power of the device, it makes the whole experience feel completely natural and fun.

The app features a growing list of thirteen classic games

With this latest addition, Retrocade now offers a full lineup of thirteen iconic games from the golden age of arcades. The current list of games available for Retrocade includes Asteroids, Bubble Bobble, Breakout, Centipede, Dig Dug, Frogger, Galaga, Haunted Castle, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Tempest, Tetris, and Track & Field.

While you can play most of the other titles on a phone or tablet, the Tetris cabinet is currently only available for headset owners. You can access the entire collection through an Apple Arcade subscription, which costs $6.99 per month in the USA.
