Apple is bringing its bundled insurance package to the UK. The new service from Apple lets you cover multiple devices under a single monthly payment instead of buying separate plans for each item. Alongside this rollout, the company is updating its standard insurance offerings to include theft and loss coverage for more than just phones. Customers can sign up for the new tiers starting July 27.

The core benefit of the new tier is cost savings for people with lots of hardware. Covering three devices under the main plan costs less than paying for three separate policies.

Here is what you will pay per month:
- Base plan for three devices: £16.99
- Each additional device: £4.99
Claim limits and fees are a bit different under the bundled option. You get a total of three claims per year across all your registered hardware. When you do file a claim, you still have to pay an excess fee. For an iPhone, the fee is £109. Tablet replacements cost £99, and wearable claims sit at £89.
Computer claims vary by the type of repair. Fixing a screen or enclosure on a MacBook Neo costs $49, while other repairs are $149. Older or standard Mac models carry a $99 fee for screens and a $299 fee for other damage.
Transitioning your older hardware to the new bundled insurance plan
Switching to the new package is designed to be simple for current subscribers. If you already pay for single device coverage, moving to the bundled plan automatically cancels the old policy. The company will issue a prorated refund for any unused time on that original plan.
You can sign up directly on your device or through the official website. The system might ask you to run a quick remote diagnostic and take a few photos to prove the item is not already broken. Devices must be registered to your account and cannot be older than four years, or one year for headphones.
You can also now add theft and loss protection to an iPad or Apple Watch, which was previously a phone exclusive. This standalone plan offers unlimited accidental damage claims and up to two theft or loss claims per year.
