Apple just released the sixth developer beta for its upcoming smartwatch operating system. Registered software testers can now download the newest version of watchOS 27 to try out the latest changes before the public launch happens this fall. This update arrived one week after the previous version, showing that the team is moving fast to get the final software ready for everyday users.
The system brings artificial intelligence tools and smarter app features
The new watchOS update adds plenty of helpful tools to your wrist. The biggest change is the addition of a much smarter voice assistant. This new version can hold real conversations and answer complex questions using your personal information. However, you will need a supported smartphone model to run these advanced tools on your watch.
The system also brings a new grid design that highlights suggested apps based on your daily habits. It introduces better tracking tools, like an improved workout feature that tracks your progress even when your phone is nowhere near you. The interface also features clearer text to make reading notifications much easier on a small screen.

Users can install the update through the smartphone companion app
If you have a free developer account, you can install the beta today. Simply open the companion app on your phone to start the download. Make sure your watch sits on its charger, connects to a wireless network, and has at least half of its battery full before starting the process.
The software works on all compatible models. The final public release will roll out to all supported devices next month, giving everyone a chance to try these new tools.
