Outlander: Blood of My Blood Season 2, Episode 2 is scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2026, on Starz in the US. It follows Henry’s confinement in 1924 and Julia’s failed attempt to pass through the stones with William from 1715.
The premiere leaves both halves of the family with a different version of the same problem. Henry is in the correct century but losing the memories that give his return meaning. Julia remembers everything but lacks the means to reach him safely.

Episode 2 should split its focus across centuries
Episode 2 should continue moving between the hospital and 1715. Reverend Wakefield has heard enough of Henry’s story to seek help, and Mrs. Graham’s knowledge gives that investigation a direction conventional doctors will not consider. Their first challenge is gaining access to Henry before another treatment removes the details they need to verify.
Julia’s confession to Davina creates a parallel alliance. Telling the truth about time travel is dangerous, but it allows Julia to ask for specific help rather than hiding every decision behind a false history. Trust may now determine whether she can find a gemstone and return safely.
Henry’s memory loss creates the deadline
Henry’s treatment supplies the most urgent deadline. He is already struggling to recall Julia’s eyes and laugh, and young Claire is slipping from his mind. Another session could remove details he cannot recover from documents alone.
Mrs. Graham may need to prove that his account contains facts he could not know in 1924. Even a small piece of evidence could persuade Wakefield to intervene more forcefully or expose the limits of the hospital’s diagnosis.
Julia needs a safer second crossing
In 1715, Julia needs to learn why the stones rejected her. The gemstone apparently carried by Henry is the strongest clue, so finding another stone may become her immediate objective. She must also decide whether William can safely make the journey.
Arch Bug remains a threat because the escape has already exposed the family’s route. A second attempt will require secrecy and protection, not only the correct object. Julia may have to choose between moving quickly and building a plan that keeps her son alive.
The preview cannot confirm which rescue begins first, but Episode 2 has several clear and urgent questions to answer on both sides.
