Apple TV has set three free streaming weekends for classic Peanuts specials while adding two new holiday specials and a family film to its 2026 seasonal lineup. The free windows begin in October and do not require an Apple TV subscription.

In its official holiday announcement, Apple said each Peanuts classic will be available to non-subscribers for one weekend. Subscribers can continue to stream the titles outside those promotional dates.

The free Apple TV dates

  • It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown: October 17 and 18
  • A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving: November 14 and 15
  • A Charlie Brown Christmas: December 12 and 13

The schedule gives viewers a clearly defined free window for each special rather than opening Apple TV’s full holiday catalog. Apple has not said that its other seasonal movies and episodes will be free during those weekends.

The new programming starts with Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy on Friday, November 13. The family film Way of the Warrior Kid, starring Chris Pratt, Linda Cardellini and Jude Hill, follows on Wednesday, November 25. Fraggle Rock: A Holiday Gift arrives Friday, December 4.

Apple is also highlighting returning titles including Spirited, The Velveteen Rabbit, Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas and The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. Those titles remain part of the subscriber catalog rather than the three announced free offers.

The 2026 slate extends Apple’s continuing Peanuts partnership. MacObserver previously covered Snoopy’s latest road-trip special and four earlier Peanuts premieres. Viewers interested only in the classics can simply save the three free weekends above. Apple has not announced a special sign-up process, so viewers should be able to open the Apple TV app or website during each window and select the featured program. Availability outside the announced dates follows the normal subscription rules.
