Apple Fitness displays a new welcome screen when opened after installing iOS 27.2 beta 3. The screen refreshes the app’s introduction, but it does not by itself establish a new workout, subscription tier or fitness-tracking capability.
The updated onboarding view appears in the community record of beta 3 changes. Apple’s developer catalog identifies the release as iOS 27.2 beta 3, build 24B5099f, dated October 5.
Welcome and What’s New screens are commonly used to introduce an app after a system update or to call attention to existing features. Testers may see the page only once, depending on whether the app has stored its onboarding state.

What the screen does not confirm
The visual change should not be treated as evidence that Apple Fitness+ pricing, device support or workout availability has changed. Those details would require updated service documentation or a separate Apple announcement.
Apple Fitness remains the iPhone app for activity data and Fitness+ access where the subscription service is available. Features can also depend on an Apple Watch, account region and active subscription.
iOS 27.2 is still beta software, so Apple may revise or remove the welcome screen before general release. Users who are not testing the beta will see any final version only after Apple ships the stable update.
Users who see the screen can dismiss it and continue into the app. No separate setup is required merely to acknowledge the introduction.
