Apple announced that it will not accept submissions for new apps or updates via App Store Connect over the Christmas period. Developers need to make their submissions before the holiday period.

App Updates on Holiday
Apple said that App Store Connect, the service through which developers upload, submit, and manage their apps, will not accept submissions for new apps, or updates to existing ones, between 23 and 27 December. On its developer website, it advised that “any releases should be submitted, approved, and scheduled in advance.”
However, it said that other App Store Connect and developer account features will remain available during the holiday period, just in case you get some Christmas coding inspiration! Away from the holiday period, submissions can be made in the normal way via App Store Connect.
