Justin Lin, Director of ‘Fast and the Furious’ Signs Apple Deal


Justin Lin, director of Fast and the Furious signed a television deal with Apple. He—with his production company Perfect Storm Entertainment—will develop, produce, and direct content that will emphasize a “global perspective.” (via Variety).

Justin Lin

Perfect Storm Entertainment previously had a deal with Sony Entertainment. It produced shows like Scorpion, S.W.A.T., and Magnum P.I. This isn’t Apple’s first grab from Sony. Recently, Sony VP Tamara Hunter joined Apple as well. Before that, Zach Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht joined the company.
