Apple TV has added 19 classic and popular movies that subscribers in the United States can now stream at no extra cost, giving the service a larger selection beyond its growing catalog of original shows and films.
The new movies appear in a “Great Movies Available Now on Apple TV” carousel inside the Apple TV app. Apple has also made licensed movies available in Canada and the United Kingdom, although the exact selection changes by region and the UK currently has a much smaller collection.

Apple TV subscribers in the US can currently stream these movies as part of their subscription:

- E.T.
- Forgetting Sarah Marshall
- Gone Girl

These movies normally appear in the Apple TV Store as rentals or purchases, but Apple now labels them as “Just Added” and includes them with an Apple TV subscription at no additional charge.
Apple has not confirmed how long these licensed movies will remain available. The company tried a similar approach in March 2024, when it added 51 licensed films, followed by roughly 30 more titles the following month, but those collections remained available for only a few weeks.
The licensed movies now sit alongside more than 300 Apple original productions. Apple TV costs $12.99 per month or $99 per year in the US, while new subscribers can also start with a seven-day free trial.
