The final episode brings the story closer to the present day, following Paige Bueckers and the pressure surrounding UConn’s attempt to return to championship form after several years without a national title. The series also includes interviews with Sue Bird, Maya Moore, Breanna Stewart, Azzi Fudd and other players who experienced Auriemma’s demanding approach firsthand.

Spoilers ahead: The documentary eventually reaches UConn’s 2024-25 season, when Bueckers faced questions about her leadership after a loss to Tennessee. Behind-the-scenes footage shows tension between Bueckers and Auriemma before the team recovers and wins the 2025 national championship, giving UConn its 12th NCAA title.

The series also gives viewers a more personal look at Bueckers and Azzi Fudd, who discuss their relationship during their time together at UConn and explain how they kept their personal lives separate from basketball while dealing with injuries, expectations and championship pressure.
