Furious Season 1, Episode 3 reveals the painful experiences driving Catherine’s killing spree while forcing Alice to confront the abusive relationship that continues to affect her work.

The first three episodes premiered together, with the remaining episodes releasing weekly. Episode 3 continues the investigation that began after Alice connected Catherine to the suspicious deaths of wealthy men.
Spoilers ahead for ‘Furious’ Season 1, Episode 3
The episode opens after Oliver Charles’ murder, with his daughter Mira holding a pair of bloodied scissors. Alice carefully convinces Mira to surrender them before attempting to learn what happened inside the house.
Meanwhile, Catherine kills Becky in Central Park after using her to obtain a new phone and disguise. She then returns to her job as a home-health aide for Alden, a disabled man who appears to trust her completely.
Catherine also reconnects with Elena, the younger sister of her dead friend Isabel. Elena lives under the control of a dangerous man known as Big Man, and Catherine becomes determined to protect her.
A flashback shows Catherine hiding beneath a bed beside a badly injured woman, strongly suggesting that she witnessed Isabel’s death. This scene explains why Catherine has targeted Caleb Easton, Oliver Charles and other men connected to Isabel.
Alice faces Marshall again
Alice struggles when Marshall, her abusive former partner, joins the murder investigation. He claims that he has changed and pressures Alice through his dying mother, who blames her for damaging his career.
However, Marshall soon becomes aggressive again. Alice responds by pulling a gun on him, showing that she no longer plans to remain silent when he threatens her.
Back at work, Alice gets a major breakthrough from Mira. She receives a photograph showing Isabel with Jay Easton, Caleb and Oliver. Catherine also appears in the background, placing her near the group around the time Isabel died.
Who is Catherine targeting next?
The ending shows Catherine creating another identity and contacting a man named Blanchard. She listens to calming affirmations while promising Elena that she will avenge Isabel’s death.
The photograph now gives Alice a clearer view of Catherine’s motive, although the investigation remains several steps behind her. Catherine appears ready to continue killing every man connected to Isabel’s abuse and death.
