Furious Season 1, Episode 6 finally brings Alice Black and Catherine Grace face to face, turning their long-running pursuit into a tense conversation that changes the direction of the case.
Titled “They Make a Noise Like Feathers,” Episode 6 arrived on Hulu on August 17, 2026. The 55-minute episode follows Alice as she gets one hour to earn Catherine’s trust after unexpectedly finding her at a women’s shelter.

Alice enters the shelter after the previous episode unexpectedly placed Catherine directly in her path. Instead of immediately exposing her, Alice assumes a false identity and tries to build enough trust to learn what Catherine knows about Isabel and the larger conspiracy surrounding Jay Easton.
Their conversation quickly becomes personal. Alice opens up about Marshall’s abuse, giving Catherine a reason to believe that Alice understands some of the fear and violence that shaped her own life. Catherine eventually reveals an important detail about Isabel: Elena, previously described as Isabel’s sister, is actually her daughter.
The meeting also changes Alice’s understanding of Catherine. Through the first five episodes, Alice has treated her primarily as the serial killer she needs to catch, even as Catherine’s targets increasingly connect back to powerful men and a wider pattern of exploitation. Episode 6 makes their similarities harder for Alice to ignore.
Nora discovers why Ed protected Jay Easton
Elsewhere, Nora finally confronts Ed George over his connection to Jay Easton. She learns that Ed previously helped bury Isabel’s death after Easton contacted him, giving Nora stronger evidence that the investigation has been compromised from inside law enforcement.
At the same time, Alden realizes he cannot safely trust the people around him. He gives Danny a copied version of the material taken from Hal’s laptop after the original files appear to have been removed.
The biggest discovery comes when Danny examines the drive and finds a video file labeled “Alice,” dated March 2004. Episode 6 does not explain what the recording contains, but its existence immediately connects Alice’s past to the Easton investigation.
Catherine shoots Marshall
The episode ends with Marshall tracking Alice and confronting her while drunk and increasingly violent. He physically attacks her before Catherine arrives carrying Alice’s stolen gun.
Catherine asks Alice whether she wants Marshall dead. Alice does not give her an answer, but Catherine shoots him anyway before escaping as law enforcement closes in. The episode leaves Marshall bleeding at the scene and does not confirm his condition before the credits roll.
That ending leaves Alice facing several problems at once. Catherine remains free, Ed has greater control over the investigation, Danny has evidence linked directly to Alice’s past, and the Easton case now looks much larger than the original serial-killer investigation.
