Heartland Season 19 is heading to Netflix in the United States, although an exact release date has not been announced. Current licensing schedules indicate that US subscribers will probably receive the season between early and summer 2027.
The delay comes from the show’s US distribution agreement. UP Faith & Family holds the first streaming rights to new Heartland seasons and currently offers all ten episodes of Season 19 exclusively.

Netflix US usually receives new Heartland seasons after UPtv and UP Faith & Family complete their exclusivity period. Season 18 reached Netflix US on February 1, 2026, following its earlier US release elsewhere. The same arrangement means Season 19 cannot move to Netflix immediately.

Season 18 ended with several changes taking shape across the ranch. Amy continued building a closer relationship with Nathan Pryce, while Lou faced difficult decisions involving the family and Heartland’s future.
Season 19 places the Bartlett-Fleming family under fresh pressure as a new threat puts the ranch and its legacy at risk. Amy must balance her relationship with Nathan, her responsibilities as a mother and growing questions about her professional reputation.
Meanwhile, Jack struggles to work with Dex, an inexperienced new ranch hand. Lou also takes a larger role in protecting Heartland as the family faces problems that could permanently affect their home. New characters include River, played by Kamaia Fairburn, Dex, played by Dylan Hawco, and Tammy Stillman, played by Linda Boyd.
Heartland is already preparing for another season
CBC has renewed Heartland for Season 20, with production beginning in Calgary in May 2026. The milestone season is scheduled to premiere in Canada during fall 2026, giving fans another chapter while US Netflix viewers wait for Season 19.
