To celebrate the upcoming season of Diwali, the tech giant is bringing a fun update to its audio lineup. Shoppers can now pick up a limited holiday release AirPods 5 from Apple. The company has officially launched a custom engraved version of its newest earbuds, just for the Indian market. These devices mix traditional art with everyday tech, giving buyers a unique design to carry around during the holidays. It is a simple way for the brand to show some local festive spirit.

The brand begins sales and hosts creative digital art workshops

Starting on October 11, buyers can purchase these festive AirPods directly through the online store, the mobile app, or at any of the six retail locations across the country. Sales will run through November 11, depending on how long supplies last.

To go along with this launch, it is hosting free digital art sessions created in partnership with artist Arushi Kathuria. Anyone who signs up can learn how to draw rangoli patterns using Procreate on an iPad. The sessions include a custom digital brush that mimics the look of real color powder. These creative classes will take place from October 14 through November 9 in India, as well as select spots in the United States, Canada, Malaysia, and Singapore.

The new case features traditional designs for the same price

This festive version of AirPods 5 comes with a special engraving on the wireless charging case. The design places a classic rangoli pattern around a playful heart eyes emoji.

You will pay ₹17,900, which is roughly $187. This means the limited edition costs the same as the standard version with the wireless charging case. However, there are a few rules to keep in mind. The company limits buyers to just two pairs per person.

It also blocks this specific model from being used with educational, business, or corporate employee discounts. The repair terms state that if a special case breaks, the replacement might just be a standard blank case, depending on what parts it has in stock.

This is a fun way to mark the holiday. If you want a practical gift with a bit of cultural flair, grabbing a pair before stock runs out makes a lot of sense. Just be careful not to damage the case, or you might lose that unique engraving forever.
