Apple still has several Mac updates planned for the rest of 2026 as it continues refreshing the lineup with new hardware and design changes. After launching the M5 MacBook Air and updated MacBook Pro models, the company is now preparing more Mac releases that will complete this year’s lineup.
These upcoming updates will focus on desktop Macs and a new high-end laptop. Apple will refresh existing products with updated chips while keeping most designs the same, though one model will receive new visual changes.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple plans additional Mac launches later in 2026, including upgrades to the Mac Studio, iMac, and Mac mini, followed by a new premium MacBook near the end of the year.
More Macs expected through 2026
Gurman outlined several products Apple plans to introduce over the coming months.
- Mac Studio refresh expected around mid-2026
- Mac mini update with newer Apple silicon
- iMac refresh with a new color palette
- High-end MacBook with touchscreen and OLED display
“The latest Mac Studio and Mac mini models will look identical to the current iterations.”
Reports suggest the Mac Studio will likely include the M5 Max chip along with either an M4 Ultra or M5 Ultra processor, while the Mac mini may ship with M5 and M5 Pro versions. The refreshed iMac will likely adopt Apple’s M5 chip while introducing new color options.
