Apple reported revenue of $109.4 billion for its fiscal third quarter of 2026, up 16 percent year over year, on July 30, 2026. The company called it its strongest June quarter ever, with records for iPhone, Mac and Services, and double-digit revenue growth in every geographic segment.
The quarter covers Apple’s fiscal April through June period, reported before the September leadership transition and before any of the products announced at Apple’s September event existed. The figures come from Apple’s own newsroom release and its consolidated financial statements, both published the same day.
Apple’s fiscal year runs from October to September, so the company’s third quarter is the calendar spring into early summer, April through June. That places the report roughly six weeks before the leadership change and more than two months before Apple’s autumn product announcements, neither of which factor into these figures at all.

The headline numbers
| Key facts | Detail |
|---|---|
| Revenue | $109.4 billion, up 16% year over year |
| Gross margin | 50.1% |
| Diluted EPS | $2.02, up 29% |
| Records set | June-quarter records for iPhone, Mac and Services |
| Geographic growth | Double-digit revenue growth in every segment |
| Reported | July 30, 2026 |
The 50.1% gross margin figure is the share of revenue Apple kept after the direct cost of making its products and delivering its services. Diluted EPS, at $2.02, is net income divided by shares outstanding, adjusted for potential share conversions, and it is the figure Apple’s release highlights as up 29% from the prior year. Apple names iPhone, Mac and Services as the three categories that individually set June-quarter records, without breaking out a dollar figure for each in the release.
What Apple’s executives said
Tim Cook, who was still CEO when the results were reported, said: “Today, Apple is proud to report our strongest June quarter ever, with double-digit revenue growth across iPhone, Mac and Services, and in every geographic segment.”
Kevan Parekh, Apple’s CFO, said: “We are very pleased with our record business performance during the quarter, which set new June quarter records for both EPS and operating cash flow.” Apple’s release attributes the EPS and cash flow records specifically to Parekh’s statement, separate from Cook’s revenue-focused remarks.
Reading the primary documents
Apple publishes four separate items for each quarterly report: the newsroom press release, a condensed consolidated financial statements PDF, an earnings-call hub page, and an investor relations page. The Q3 FY2026 press release and the financial statements PDF were both published July 30, 2026, and both are the source for the revenue, margin and EPS figures reported here. The earnings-call hub and investor relations pages carry the call details and, eventually, the fiscal Q4 announcement, but as of this writing neither lists a fourth-quarter date.
The dividend
| Dividend detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Amount | $0.27 per share |
| Record date | August 10, 2026 |
| Payable | August 13, 2026 |
Where this sits against the rest of 2026
The June quarter results were reported roughly six weeks before John Ternus became CEO on September 1 and Tim Cook moved to Executive Chairman, and more than two months before the September 9 product announcements. None of the revenue, margin or EPS figures in the Q3 release reflect sales of the iPhone 18 Pro, the Apple Watch Series 12, or the AirPods 5, since all three launched after the quarter closed. The iOS 27 release arriving Monday is likewise outside the reporting window.
What Apple has not said
- A new share buyback authorization. Apple’s Q3 press release did not carry one; those figures have historically accompanied the March-quarter results instead.
- A breakdown of revenue by individual product beyond the iPhone, Mac and Services categories named in the release.
- Any comment connecting these results to the leadership transition that followed five weeks later.
Today is Saturday, September 12, 2026. Apple’s next quarterly report, covering fiscal Q4, has not had a date announced, and the company’s investor relations and earnings-call pages currently list nothing beyond the July 30 release.
