Users that currently pay for Apple TV+ are starting to receive emails informing them that they’ll be getting free credits, MacRumors reported. The $4.99 credit will be applied for every month they have subscribed from November 2020 through January 2021.
Apple TV+ Subscribers Free Credits on Way
The move is part of the extension of the Apple TV+ free trial period. Those users who got a free year with a new device will not start paying until at least February 2021. Interestingly, while the idea is to draw users into the streaming service, it appears that these credits can be used on any app, game, or service.
