AT&T Launches a New $3 Unlimited Cellular Day Pass for iPads

AT&T $3 iPad plan

AT&T just introduced a new cellular option for people who need internet on the go but do not want a monthly plan. The company announced its Unlimited Day Pass, which gives users 24 hours of unlimited wireless data for a flat fee of $3. You do not even need to be an AT&T customer to use it, meaning anyone with a compatible Apple tablet can get connected without a long-term contract or credit check.

The new day pass activates straight from your device settings

If you own an eSIM-capable iPad model, you can set up the service directly from your settings menu. You do not need a Wi-Fi connection or a separate app to get started. Just open your settings, tap on cellular data, and select the AT&T Unlimited Day Pass. The 24-hour data clock starts ticking shortly after you buy the pass.

What makes this release stand out is that AT&T is letting anyone buy the pass. It does not matter if your primary carrier is Verizon or T-Mobile. The carrier is even throwing in the first day pass for free, so you can test out its network.

The pass currently only works on specific tablets, but the company plans to expand support to other 5G devices like laptops, drones, and smartwatches soon. This provides a simple safety net for travelers or remote workers who find themselves stuck without a reliable internet connection.

Instead of tying yourself to an expensive monthly data plan you rarely use, this three-dollar option gives you total control over when you pay for internet. It is a highly practical solution for those moments when you are stuck at an airport or coffee shop and just need to get online quickly.
