iPhone 17e supports wireless charging up to 15W with MagSafe and Qi2. By comparison, the previous iPhone 16e was limited to 7.5W Qi charging and did not support MagSafe at all. The difference is not just speed. MagSafe uses precisely aligned magnets that lock the charger into the optimal position, improving charging efficiency and reducing heat loss.
