iOS 14.2 Code Offers More Confirmation That There Will Be no EarPods in iPhone 12 Box

The latest public beta of iOS 14.2 is now available. MacRumors spotted a further indication that there will be no EarPods contained in the box with the iPhone 12 (and, presumably, future iPhones too) within the code of the operating system.

For years, Apple has included its own headphones in the box. Furthermore, the operating system code has always contained a reference to them, saying “supplied headphones” should be used to help reduce exposure to RF energy. However, within iOS 14.2 that reference has been dropped. Instead, it reads:
