iOS 27 Leak Reveals Apple’s New Siri Interface, AI Camera Features, and Chatbot App

New images shared through Bloomberg’s latest report have revealed Apple’s redesigned Siri experience for iOS 27, and the update looks far more connected to the iPhone interface than before, especially with Siri now expanding into the Dynamic Island, Camera app, and a new chatbot-style interface that resembles apps like ChatGPT and Gemini.

Bloomberg said the illustrations are “based on information viewed by Bloomberg and people with knowledge of the company’s plans,” while also noting that Apple continues testing multiple internal versions before the official reveal at WWDC on June 8.

“The company often tests multiple designs of features internally, and the final version set to be introduced to the public in June could differ.”

The report shows Apple pushing Siri deeper into everyday iPhone actions instead of keeping it as a floating voice assistant that appears at the bottom of the screen.

1. Siri reportedly moves into the Dynamic Island

According to Bloomberg, users will trigger Siri by saying “Siri” or by holding the power button, which starts a new Dynamic Island animation instead of the current fullscreen interface.

The report also says users can swipe down from the top center of the screen to open a new “Search or Ask” experience for typing commands, web searches, shortcuts, messages, and AI requests.

This interface reportedly combines:

  • Siri Suggestions
  • Web search results
  • App actions
  • AI chatbot conversations
  • Personal data results from Notes, Messages, Mail, and Calendar

Bloomberg describes the system as a unified search and assistant layer across iOS 27.

2. Apple is building a chatbot-style Siri app

The leak also reveals a standalone Siri chatbot app that reportedly looks similar to ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

“Users will be able to route queries directly to outside AI services from the Search or Ask interface.”

Bloomberg says Apple is testing support for third-party AI agents, including OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude, with a dropdown menu allowing users to choose which AI service handles a request.

That change would give Siri a much larger role in AI conversations instead of acting only as a command-based assistant.

3. Camera and Photos apps are getting major AI upgrades

Bloomberg’s report also highlights new AI-powered camera and photo editing tools inside iOS 27.

The Camera app reportedly gains a dedicated Siri mode that can analyze objects through third-party AI systems or reverse image search, while a new “Add Widgets” panel allows users to customize camera controls more freely.

The Photos app is also expected to introduce:

  1. Reframe for changing image perspective
  2. Extend for AI-generated image expansion
  3. Natural language editing commands
  4. AI grammar correction tools
  5. Improved Image Playground generation quality

Bloomberg says Apple also plans a redesigned Shortcuts app that allows users to create automations using natural language instead of manual step-by-step actions.

Apple will officially unveil iOS 27 during the WWDC keynote on June 8, where the company is expected to focus heavily on AI features across Siri, Camera, Photos, and systemwide search.
