Amazon has reduced selected current iPad Air and iPad mini configurations by $100 for fall Prime Day. The 11-inch M4 iPad Air starts at $649, while the A17 Pro iPad mini starts at $499.
The 11-inch iPad Air listing showed the 128GB Wi-Fi model at $649 on October 6, down from $749. Amazon also listed the 128GB iPad mini at $499, down from $599.
Several storage and cellular variants carry the same $100 discount, but not every color stays in stock at the lowest price. Buyers should compare the selected capacity and connectivity instead of relying on the first price shown on the product page.

Air or mini depends on the job
The iPad Air provides a larger display and the faster M4 chip, making it the better choice for multitasking, keyboard use and more demanding creative apps. The iPad mini prioritizes portability and one-handed reading, with a smaller screen and A17 Pro chip.
MacObserver’s current iPad comparison breaks down the lineup by use case. Buyers considering the Air as a laptop replacement can also compare it with the MacBook Neo and Magic Keyboard setup.
These are U.S. prices and can change before Prime Big Deal Days ends October 7. Check storage, Wi-Fi or cellular support, color and final checkout price before buying.
Apple Pencil and keyboard accessories are sold separately, so include them in the budget if the iPad will be used for handwriting or laptop-style work. Compatibility differs between models, so check accessory support carefully before ordering.
