New iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max orders are now showing October delivery estimates for many U.S. configurations, only days after preorders opened. The exact date depends on the color, storage tier and location, while some options may still be available sooner through Apple Store pickup.
Apple began taking orders on September 12, ahead of the September 18 launch. Apple’s online store updates its estimates continuously, so a buyer should treat any date shown at checkout as the current estimate for that particular configuration, not as a guarantee for every Pro model.
Current estimates extend into October
A review of Apple Store availability reported today shows iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max dates ranging from September 29 into October 13 in the United States. That is a delivery window, not proof that every version has sold through its initial inventory. Supply can vary sharply by finish, capacity, delivery ZIP code and nearby store stock.

Apple has confirmed that the two models are available for preorder in more than 65 countries and regions, with September 18 as the launch date. Its iPhone 18 Pro announcement does not publish a configuration-by-configuration stock table, so the Apple Store remains the authoritative place to check a live estimate.
Delivery and pickup can differ
Home delivery is only one option. A model with an October shipping estimate may still show an earlier pickup date at a local Apple Store, while a different color or storage tier can change the result. Checking both choices before placing an order is worthwhile, especially for buyers who want the phone near launch day.
Customers should also avoid drawing a broad demand conclusion from a single delay. Apple has not said how many units it allocated to each model, configuration or market.
