Tandem OLED Makes the Slimmer Design Possible

The new PROLED XDR display replaces the previous mini-LED backlighting system with two self-illuminating OLED layers, reducing the space required inside the display assembly.

It also delivers up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, a 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Apple has also redesigned the thermal architecture to maintain sustained M5 Pro and M5 Max performance within the slimmer chassis.

The new MacBook Pro models start at $2,899 and arrive November 6.
