The report follows Apple’s September hardware event, which introduced iPhone and Apple Watch products but no new Apple TV or HomePod. That leaves the current Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini in place for now. Both remain available from Apple, and tvOS 27 is now available for supported Apple TV hardware.

The reported list includes a new Apple TV, a refreshed HomePod mini, and an all-new Apple home hub. It also includes an entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro, an iMac, and an OLED iPad mini. Those products are not one launch announcement, and Apple could reveal them at different times or change the plan entirely.

The common thread is Siri AI. Apple has already shipped iOS 27 with its new Siri AI features, which removes one obvious reason for home hardware to wait. It does not prove that an announcement is imminent, but it explains why observers are watching Apple’s next product window closely.

Apple’s current store pages still list the 2022 Apple TV 4K and the existing HomePod mini. The company has not named a successor, stated a chip upgrade, or said whether a new Siri Remote will be part of a refresh. Should you buy the current models?
If you need a streaming box or a compact smart speaker now, the current products are known quantities and are supported by Apple’s latest software. If you are specifically waiting for faster hardware, new Siri AI capabilities, or a home hub, waiting makes more sense because those are the areas the report points toward.
